As we head into the weekend, it's about time for us all to relax and take a breather. But perhaps the endless drudgery is getting to you. Perhaps you want just a bit of...power, no matter how petty it may be. Well, in which case Beholder: Conductor, free now on the Epic Games Store for mobile, may be what you're looking for.
Similar to the other Beholder games in the series, Beholder: Conductor sees you working under the thumb of a tyrannical government dedicated to spying on its citizens. This time, however, rather than being a mere landlord, you'll be stepping aboard the Determination Bringer, an enormous, luxurious train.
Still a better journey than Great Western Rail
Naturally, that means dobbing in passengers who do everything from dodge fares to handle prohibited items. But as you might expect, it also means you'll be left to decide exactly what happens.With various missions to complete and the ultimate fate of the passengers in your hands, what you decide will affect the ending that you get. Or it could just lead to your untimely end at the hands of the secret police, of course. All rendered in comfortably dystopian, stylised monochrome characters.
Either way, you'll also need to handle the daily operations, keep the cabins looking nice and work your way up from the very back to the VIP carriages up front. All of it makes Beholder: Conductor a very worthy (and might I remind you, free) addition to your mobile back-catalogue!
