Badlanders Season 6: Era of Embers is out now, introducing new treasures and gameplay mechanics
NetEase has just launched a new season for its survival looter shooter, Badlanders. Era of Embers, which is the sixth season, is out now and will introduce players to new features, treasures, and a lot more. You can check it all out in the trailer below.
Season 6 of Badlanders brings a new treasure class called Collectibles. Players can unlock them and other blueprints by progressing through the story, doing missions, and getting a rank on the leaderboards. Collecting them can earn attribute rewards that can be used to get certain advantages in battle.
The second kind of treasure is an Heirloom. These are the rarest items in the game and each of them has a unique serial number, making them one of a kind. These sure are perfect to get bragging rights on the Wall of Honour, but just like Collectibles, they provide bonuses during fights too. Of course, since these are pretty rare items, they can be sold at the Auction House for a fair price too.
Some of the Red Beach Camouflages have a chance of containing one of the treasures in them. Heirlooms include Avatar Strife Portrait and Camouflage Ivory Amaranth, while the featured Collectibles will be Ace Summit Gold Cup, Ace Summit Silver Cup, Ace Summit Bronze Cup, and Skyfire.
Era of Embers further introduces the Base System, which allows players to create their own shelter. It can be filled with furniture and decorations and features an area where all Collectibles can be placed. Players can also visit their friends’ bases and just chill around.
In addition to this, Badlanders is also adding a new Factions System. Players can join a clan with their buddies to complete missions and earn rewards such as avatars and outfits. Don’t forget to dive into the new Story System that explores the past of the Red Beach.
