In August, the game will roll out in Canada, Denmark, South Africa and Sweden for both Android and iOS with more regions being added over the next few months.

Avatar: Generation is a free-to-play adventure RPG set in Nickelodeon’s ATLA universe. Players will be able to take on the roles of all their favourite characters, experiencing their journey in an extremely immersive way as they make their way through the chaos caused by the Fire Nation.

The first chapter will see the addition of fan-favourites like Aang, Katara, Sokka, Toph, Suki and Zuko and Appa and Momo of course. The list does not end there are future chapters will focus on other heroes in this universe like Avatar Kyoshi, Roku, and Korra.

Speaking about the game, Will Moore, CEO, Navigator Games, said: “With a globally beloved brand of this level, we’ve endeavoured to create a game that expands the rich and storied universe of ‘Avatar: The Last Airbender,’ in way that feels authentic and exciting to fans of the series and RPG games alike.

"At the same time, we’ve ensured that the game remains accessible to anyone who doesn’t traditionally play RPG’s. Our partners at Square Enix London Mobile have been hugely supportive in these efforts, and we’re working closely with our community during this soft launch period to make the best version of the game possible.”

The game will feature squad-based battles, loads of adventure, and an intricate upgrade and party customization system. Players will be able to explore iconic locations and witness important events of the series as they step foot in this massive open world.
