Avatar Generations' latest update introduces Kelsang and Jianzhu to the RPG's roster

CDE Entertainment has released a new expansion called The Hegemon's Folly update for Avatar Generations that introduces additional content for both Avatar Kyoshi and Avatar Aang timelines. There's a new adventure for the Gaang to embark upon alongside a banner that allows you to summon two characters.

The new banner is called the Broken Bonds Event Banner and allows you to add Kyoshi's mentors to your roster - Kelsang, the Living Typhoon, and Jianzhu, the Gravedigger of Zhulu Pass. You can see these two characters in action by checking out the trailer below.

In addition to these new characters, you will find some new content to battle through. In Avatar Aang's timeline, you can tackle a new campaign that features Pirate Captain Jiang from the graphic novel Katara and the Pirate's Silver. Alongside her, a new character - Commander Mamushi of the Fire Nation - is this story's villain. Captain Jian must solve an ancient puzzle before the Fire Nation figures out what she's up to.

All of that's available now, but the update promises a new collectible character at the start of June. Captain Masaru debuted in the Avatar Generations campaign as an enemy, but now he can become part of your squad. He will kick start the story told through the Hegemon's Folly campaign.

If you're unfamiliar with Avatar Generations, it's a gacha RPG where you assemble a team of characters from the titular series. Once assembled, you work through the series' main story alongside experiencing entirely original content. Avatar Generations is available now on the App Store and Google Play as a free-to-play game with in-app purchases. You can download it for your preferred platform using the links below.
