Astro Glider takes you on a fun-filled journey through a kaleidoscopic galaxy on iOS
Ready for a trench run?

- Astro Glider is a newly released space shooter on iOS
- Blast your way through interdimensional enemies to a bumping soundtrack
- Upgrade your ship with new skins, engine trails and auras
If you want to blast your way through space on mobile (or any gaming platform for that matter), there's an infinite number of options out there. So, what's one more? Well, newly released iOS space shooter Astro Glider sees that, and raises you with fast-paced, kaleidoscopic shooting action as you blast your way through a colourful galaxy to a bumping soundtrack!
Hop into your own spaceship and experiment with a host of futuristic technologies to enhance it as you go. Grab mysterious resources as you barrel along the spacelanes and grow your high-score, all while dodging, outmanoeuvring and defeating all manner of interdimensional threats.
And once you're done, you can go about unlocking new ship skins and engine trails, different auras and even a variety of exclusive music packs from the Astro Glider Original Soundtrack. Astro Glider is a surprisingly laid-back example of the space shooter genre that doesn't lack in excitement.
Gliding through the stars
Astro Glider also has one of the added fringe benefits of the recent explosion in indie releases on mobile. Which is that it boasts being completely offline, free-to-play and lacking in ads. Doubtless, developer Alex O'Donnell is looking to build up hype around their work, something they've very much done with Astro Glider. The only thing I can think of putting some players off is the low-poly look and the occasionally bland appearance of the central 'column' you're jetting along. But with plenty of other flashy visuals and an exciting soundtrack, you'd have to cut Astro Glider plenty of slack for skimping in that department.
