Pokemon Go reveals the details for May's Community Day celebration, with Swablu as the featured Pokemon

In the previous announcement by Niantic regarding the eventful May, the Community Day in May was also teased but the details weren't fully announced. Today, in the latest update from the devs, now know what to expect from it.

The featured Pokemon for May’s Community Day will be Swablu, the Cotton Bird Pokémon. The event will take place on May 15th from 11:00 am till 5:00 p.m local time.

• The featured pokemon, Swablu will appear more often with a chance of witnessing a Shiny one, so keep your eyes peeled.
• Players who capture snapshots during the event will get a surprise reward later on.
• Community Day Box will be available for 1,280 PokéCoins, featuring 50 Ultra Balls, five Super Incubators, five Incense, and an Elite Fast TM.
• Players can access the premium Swablu Community Day–exclusive Special Research story, Cotton-Winged Bird.

• Cotton-Winged Bird Special Research will have tickets that can be purchased nearer to the event itself and will offer a host of additional rewards such as Swablu encounters
• Mega Raids will feature Mega Altaria after May Community Day on May 15th at 5:00 p.m. local time. This is a bonus chance for those players who have collected, as they get an opportunity to evolve it later on.

• The Incubator will hold 1/4 Hatch Distance when during the event period
• Incense will last for exactly three hours if activated during the event.
