A few pieces of information about Niantic's popular AR title Pokemon Go emerged recently. This included details on Stickers, Heatran appearing in Raids and a Pokemon Go Fest 2020 makeup event for certain regions across the globe.

First up then, more Gift Stickers will be available in the shop. If you're unfamiliar, these are little pictures of Pokemon that pop up when you send a Gift to your pals. I personally never use them simply because I forget they exist. But if the examples in the image below are anything to go by, they continue to be very cute at least.

Elsewhere, Heatran, who made its Pokemon Go debut back in 2018, will be returning to Raids on August 21st. The Lava Dome Pokemon will then be sticking around until September 10th, hopefully giving players plenty of time to catch a few of them.

Finally, yet another Pokemon Go Fest makeup event will take place on August 23rd in Australia, New Zealand and other parts of the Asia Pacific region for players who purchased a ticket. The global make up event initially took place on August 16th but due to a glitch, players in these regions had difficulty taking part.

On August 23rd the event will take place between 11 pm and 2 pm local time where there will be three different habitats offering different Pokemon to catch. They are based around Fire, Water and Friendship.

However, unlike the previous makeup event, there will be no free box, Gifts with Rare Candies or other bonuses this time around. Incense that's activated during the event period will last for an hour instead of the usual 30 minutes, however.

Pokemon Go is available now over on the App Store and Google Play. It's a free-to-play game with in-app purchases.
