Last week it was announced that players would be able to vote for which two Pokemon would feature in the Community Days for both September and October. Now we have more details on what that will involve and when players will be able to vote.

The choices for the Pokemon include Charmander, Caterpie, Grimer, and Porygon. The winner will feature in September whilst the runner up will appear in October. The vote is set to take place through a poll on Twitter on August 22nd through to the 23rd.

Depending on who is chosen, they will each have different exclusive attacks if evolved that day. For instance, if Charmander is selected, evolving it into a Charizard will see it learn Dragon Breath. If the vote swings Caterpie's way then players can get themselves a Butterfree that knows Hurricane.

Grimer meanwhile, will be able to learn Fire Punch when it becomes a Muk. If Grimer is chosen, its Alolan form will appear in Raid Battles whilst its original Kanto version will appear in the wild and hatch from Eggs.

Finally, if players – correctly – vote for Porygon they will be able to evolve Porygon2 into a Porygon-Z that knows the Normal-Type move Tri Attack. This will mark the attack's debut in Pokemon Go with the move also having a chance to decrease the opponent's Attack and Defense.

Pokemon Go is available now over on the App Store and Google Play. It's a free-to-play game with in-app purchases.
