Farming Simulator 20 has received a free update that adds new vehicles to the game

Farming Simulator 20 initially launched back in December of last year for both iOS and Android alongside Nintendo Switch. This instalment of the popular simulator series is now around half a year old then and developer Giants Software has released a free content update today to keep players entertained until the inevitable Farming Simulator 21 rolls around.

The update introduces two vehicles and headers to the game from John Deere whilst there's also a new transport option from Fliegl. Alongside that, there are a host of bugfixes and optimisation changes that will hopefully lead to a smoother experience for players.

The specific names of the various agricultural vehicles that have been added to Farming Simulator 20 include:

• John Deere S790 - Combine Harvester
• John Deere 9620 RX - Tractor
• John Deere 618C - Header
• John Deere 645 FD - Header
• Fliegl Semitrailer - Loading Wagon

You can check out some of the above farming vehicles in action in the embedded trailer above alongside the stats for some of them to see if they're worth replacing your current set up for. This free update follows another that was added to the game in early June.

This saw the addition of the Jaguar 960TT forage harvester and CLAAS Xerion 5000 tractor. The former came with a host of additional attachments for more efficient harvesting. So if you've not played the game in a while it might be worth hopping back in since there's a bunch of additional content alongside several updates that have apparently improved the gameplay.

Farming Simulator 20 is available now over on the App Store and Google Play. It's a premium title that costs $5.99 with additional in-app purchases available for coins.
