With Mario Kart Tour recently receiving an update that adds a landscape option to Nintendo's mobile version of their kart racer, you might find yourself interested in giving it another try. This promises reworked controls which definitely makes taking it for another spin appealing.
If you choose to do so you'll find the game has now reached its 22nd tour, which is called the Exploration Tour. Part 2 of this tour started today and will run until July 28th. As always, that means the Ranked cups have been changed and additional challenges have been added.
Beyond that, part two of a Mario Kart Tour always signals a change in the Spotlight Pipe. From now until 28th July, the featured driver will be Explorer Toadette, the vehicle the Clackety Kart and the glider the Pink Gold Paper Glider.
Meet Toadette (Explorer). She shares Captain Toad's sense of adventure as the two delve deep into the mysteries of uncharted lands. The new Clackety Kart is perfect for a little mine-diving fun. There are also various Tour Gifts up for grabs – though this doesn't change between parts of tours – that can net players karts, gliders and drivers with the free and Gold Pass variants. If you don't buy the Gold Pass you'll be able to earn yourself rubies, Baby Mario, a Paper Glider and Mushmellow kart. Meanwhile, Gold Pass subscribers can get a Bob-omb Parafoil Glider, Ice Bro character and Gold Clanky Kart.Searching for the best mobile racing games around?
