Flip Runner is one of a few games out there with the same name, but don't get confused. This game is made by the same folks who gave you Flip Diving and Flip Master. This game is essentially about living your dreams as a Houdini of sorts.

No, you're escaping traps or anything, but you will be jumping on building rooftops. So perhaps a mix of Superman and Spider-Man? Well, anyway, your goal is to get from point A to point B by doing flips. the wacky cast of characters you can use each are like ragdolls which is pretty funny.

Scaling the buildings won't be the easiest feat, but the gameplay is still fair enough. Once you get the hang of it, it's good fun and hilarious. We give you some tips on what you need to keep in mind when you go on your daredevil adventure in the city.

Go as far as you can go

OK so, on your jumps, there's an arrow that will indicate where you will take off. It's good to aim for the farthest part of the platform you're trying to land on. You'll be rewarded better for it and not only, but it also's a bit safer believe it or not.

Keep in mind that the levels vary, but many for many of them, going further is good. You'll easily fail by falling short, and you have a better chance of doing that than going overboard. Now, don't be afraid to go shorter if you don't feel comfortable going too far.

But, you should be alright. It all just depends on how you land. Fall too short of the platform, then you won't have the opportunity to put together that picture-perfect landing like gymnasts do in the Olympics. If you are worried about going too far, then don't worry, just do your best to balance your jump out.

Make landing look easy

Landing is everything in Flip Runner because of course, it is. That said, when starting out, it can a bit frustrating at times because it's more than just simple jumps. You need to perform flips and other tricks before landing and it takes great timing to make that happen.

So the best thing to do is to keep playing easier levels until you feel more comfortable with landing on your feet. You can land on your face, but unfortunately, that doesn't count (trust me, I'd applaud and reward you though). The very first level is a great way to practice.

What makes this helpful is that you will be able to do a flip in slow motion, so this allows you to have some training wheels essentially. Then, on the very next jump, you will attempt it in normal time. So go wild with the practicing, and then when you're ready, then take the training wheels off.

Upgrade your character

With a certain amount of coins, you can upgrade your character's attributes. These include Jump Power, Tuck Power, Confidence, and Balance. The former allows you to jump higher which is good when you want some extra time to get in good landing position.

Tuck Power lets you spin faster when performing tricks. This can also help make landing easier. Confidence will add a bit more flair to your tricks, so this is great for style. Lastly, you have Balance, which as you might have expected, improves your ability to land cleanly.

Out of these four, Balance may arguably be the most important attribute in the game. With that said, each one of these complement one another nicely. The good thing is that it doesn't cost too much for your first couple of upgrades. But definitely make sure to grab up as many coins as you can when you're out there so you can make some much-needed purchases.

Also, you can use coins to head to the gold dispenser. Gold can be used to buy new characters, and there are a lot of fun and interesting ones. From mascots to ninjas there's a bit of everything. So the coins do a lot for you, so take advantage as best you can.
