Danganronpa: Trigger Happy Havoc, Danganronpa 2: Goodbye Despair, and Danganronpa V3: Killing Harmony are all heading to mobile. Incredible, right? What's not so incredible is that we don't yet have an ETA.

Famitsu (via Gematsu) reports that the "Anniversary Editions" will feature an all-new UI, improved touchscreen controls, and several galleries where you can check out in-game art, events, expressions, and voice clips.

Spike Chunsoft has also announced that Dangan TV: Hope Goes Forward!, the first in its Danganronpa 10th anniversary news updates, is set for 1-2pm UK time on May 21st. Gematsu reports that it'll feature special guests, info on upcoming celebrations, and more.

As thrilled as I am to see the trilogy heading to mobile, it's properly baffling that the Switch has once again been ignored. Maybe it's coming? I don't know. But what I do know is that Danganronpa should be open and available to all. That's just common sense.

If you're new to the series, the mainline entries are all visual novels with investigative elements. You're stuck on an island with a bunch of teens who must carefully kill one another to survive a deadly game.

Series creator Kazutaka Kodaka has another mobile game in the works. Death Come True is a murder mystery that casts you as an accused serial killer. You'll work to escape a strange hotel while dealing with its strange staff and guests.

It's an FMV game with a pretty neat central premise: "time leaping". This allows you to jump back in time, but only when you kick the bucket. It sounds like a fun way to see the various outcomes of each story scenario. Death Come True is heading to iOS, Android, and Nintendo Switch in June.
