Harvest Moon: Mad Dash is now available for iOS and Android following console and PC releases last year

Harvest Moon: Mad Dash has previously been released on pretty much everything besides mobile. PC, Switch and PS4 have all had the spin-off despite it very much resembling a mobile game with its more casual gameplay and 3-star score system. Now though, it's finally arrived for iOS and Android devices.

If you're unfamiliar with Harvest Moon: Mad Dash it's a more casual version of the farming sim where players are challenged to fulfil customer orders within a set time. It's a more fast-paced version of the Harvest Moon that most people will be familiar with and probably yearn for.

This means you'll have to run about harvesting fish, milk and other produce as quickly as possible. It won't be as straightforward as moving around as quickly as possible though. There will be a variety of obstacles that will make your life more difficult with everything from molten lava to angry boars impeding your progress. 

As you dodge pyroclastic flow and avoid charging pigs you'll also take in a variety of locations as you work to restore a broken lighthouse. Your journey will take you through farms and beaches as well as more intriguing locations like the Underworld and Skyworld.

Along the way, you'll also discover Harvest Sprite powers that will unlock a variety of support skills that will give you a helping hand on tougher levels. Each level has a possible three stars to earn and these support skills may help push your score that little bit higher to net you that elusive third star.

In terms of compatibility, you'll need an iOS device capable of running at least iOS 9.0 or later whilst Android users will need at least 2gb of RAM with Android OS of 4.4 or later. 

Harvest Moon: Mad Dash is available now on the App Store and Google Play. It's a premium game that costs $4.99.
