Mass Effect: Redemption comic coming to iPhone

Dark Hose comic going digital

Mass Effect: Redemption comic coming to iPhone

With Mass Effect 2 absorbing the daylight hours of Xbox 360 and PC gamers everywhere this week, the Dark Horse comic Mass Effect: Redemption is also enjoying immense popularity.

The four part comic series links the events after the end of the first game, and brings us up to date on the events at the beginning of its sequel, and was written by the game's lead writer Mac Walters.

Publisher Dark Horse has announced it'll be bringing a digital version of Mass Effect: Redemption to iPhone, in its own standalone comic book application. Swipe gestures will flip the pages, or you can go finger free by using the slideshow transitions between panels and pages.

The digital comic of the game is expected to land on the App Store on February 3rd, and will be free for a limited time before making a small bump up to 50p/99c.

Mass Effect's first outing on iPhone didn't go down all that well, but being a bit of a comic book sad-boy, I must admit to being reasonable excited about Mass Effect: Redemption.

Yes. Spanner's his real name, and he's already heard that joke you just thought of. Although Spanner's not very good, he's quite fast, and that seems to be enough to keep him in a regular supply of free games and away from the depressing world of real work.
