Five questions a day keeps dementia away?

Bulky Pix releases Daily Quizz onto App Store

French developer Bulky Pix is nothing if not varied when it comes to the type of games it makes.

Its debut was scary interactive move Hysteria Project, which was followed by the simple social networked title BaDaBoo, and then online battler My Brute.

Now it's released Daily Quizz: What Happened Today?.

As you might guess, this is a general knowledge game based around things that happened in history on the day during which you're playing.

There are a range of topics - historical events, cinema, music, great inventions, famous people etc - and you have five multiple choice questions on each. The faster you select the right answer, the more points you get - ranging from 15 down to 3.

If you need some help, there's a joker system, which will either remove two wrong answers or provide an audio clue. However, when you use the joker, you'll reduce the number of points you can win drastically.

Community aspects of the game include a global highscore table, including Facebook integration, as well as the opportunities to chat to other players via OpenFeint 2.0.

Daily Quizz: What Happened Today? is out now priced $1.99, €1.59 or £1.19. Hit the Buy It! button to go direct to the App Store
