It looks like another huge week for Apple Arcade, with two games arriving this Friday. On top of that, we've got news about two App Store Greats that will release on the subscription service, alongside the usual update round-up.
Raw Fury's 2D critically-acclaimed 2D Metroidvania is heading for Apple Arcade. The game follows the titular Dandara as she sets off on an adventure to save the world of Salt. She will leap across floors, walls, and ceilings while finding upgrades dotted across the game world. It's a game that we really enjoyed here at Pocket Gamer when it first launched in 2018.
Next up, RAC7 is bringing Splitter Critters to Apple Arcade soon. The game initially launched in 2017 and tasked players with exploring a variety of colourful planets. Here, they solved various puzzles by splitting the world by swiping with their fingers to help guide the critters back to their spaceship.
The second instalment in the popular Kingdom Rush series arrives this Friday. If you're unfamiliar, it sees players constructing towers and deploying heroes to protect their kingdom from numerous beasties such as dragons, man-eating plants, and unsavoury creatures from the underworld.
Bandai Namco's Galaga Wars brings some nostalgia to Apple Arcade this week. It promises simple touch screen controls that allow players to experience the thrill of gunning down seemingly endless waves of aliens with numerous lasers and missiles.
Finally, in LEGO Brawls, Monkie Kid and his team are now in the game. That means players can collect trophies to earn new Monkie Kid content.
The above games are either available now over on Apple Arcade or will be soon. It is a subscription service that costs $4.99 per month. For more information on other games available in its extensive library, check out our dedicated hub page.
