Apple Arcade August 23rd 2024 updates: Tiana arrives in Disney Dreamlight Valley and NFL Bowl '25 goes live
It's all change over at Apple
- NFL Retro Bowl and Disney Dreamlight Valley are all getting major updates
- There's also miscellaneous updates to a variety of minor games
- Sadly, no major releases are coming in this update
It's Friday, and you know what that means! Yes, it's the end of the week, but also a good date for new updates to everyone's favourite(?) game subscription service, Apple Arcade. Sarcasm aside Apple Arcade has a tremendously worthy catalogue, but this week's inclusions are mainly focused on updates to existing titles, so let's dig in.
First off, major updates:
- Disney Dreamlight Valley Arcade Edition: Tiana and her palace from Disney's Princess & the Frog arrive in the valley, alongside this a new expansion pass called A Rift in Time arrives which will challenge players to explore the depths of Jafar's castle.
- NFL Retro Bowl '25: Fans of Retro Bowl may be a bit disappointed to learn that rather than being a standalone release, the new licenced version of Retro Bowl will be an update to the existing game, releasing on September 5th.
And now, a list of all the games receiving minor updates, such as the addition of free content available in other versions of the game in the case of Vampire Survivors:
- Vampire Survivors+
- TMNT Splintered Fate
- Temple Run: Legends
- Outlanders
- Spongebob: Patty Pursuit
- Simon's Cat - Storytime
- Fruit Ninja Classic+
- A Slight Chance of Sawblades
- Disney Coloring World+.
