Shoot to survive

Animal Friends vs Zombies lets you defend against the undead - not as plants, but as not-so-helpless pets
  • Build your tower and defend against the undead
  • Upgrade your weapons to survive
  • Encounter helpful allies along the way

You've heard about plucky plantlife making their last stand against legions of the undead - but what about household pets? Our furry friends deserve a chance to survive the zombie apocalypse too, which is probably how Animal Friends vs Zombies came to be.

This survival-slash-moving tower defence will have you shooting at the undead with a wide variety of weapons in your arsenal, from heavy-hitting flamethrowers to buzzing chainsaws. You play as a not-so-helpless animal on top of a moving tower, and as the hordes of the undead come at you with all their brain-eating might, you'll need to arm yourself and shoot them down before they climb up your tower and swallow you whole.

As you build your tower and upgrade it to withstand the relentless onslaught, you'll also need to strategise the best bombs and gadgets to use to rid the post-apocalyptic world of the mutant undead. If you're lucky, you might even encounter fellow survivors who can help you along the way - it's not a dog-eat-dog world here, it seems.

Why the human race seems to have succumbed to the undead while the animals haven't is a mystery, but you're not going to let your animal friends suffer the same fate, are you?

In the meantime, if you're eager to join in on all the fun, you can do so by checking out Animal Friends vs Zombies on Google Play. It's free-to-play with in-app purchases, with pre-registration now open.
