Animal Arena lets you stomp on your friends for points, coming soon to iOS and Android
Adventure Islands has announced the upcoming launch of Animal Arena, the solo indie developer Jussi Simpanen's charming pixel-art action battle arena on iOS and Android. Coming to mobile on November 9th, the game offers plenty of rowdy fun for 1-4 players to do battle across colourful platforms.
In Animal Arena, you can look forward to getting the upper hand against your online buddies in a wacky arena where the goal is to stomp on your foes to gain points. Of course, you'll all be leaping around trying to stomp each other for all those points, because to the victor go the spoils. The player with the most number of points by the time the timer ends wins.

Apart from the easy one-button controls that make the game incredibly easy to get into, you can also look forward to all the adorable animals you can unlock using points you've earned throughout your battles. There are 120 animals to collect in all, so there are plenty of reasons to stomp on your friends for points.
If you're looking to spice things up, there's a battle royale-esque mode as well where you have an HP bar that you'll all fight to whittle down until you're the last one standing. There's a team battle mode as well, and there are 10 weapon powerups you can wield to add to the merry mayhem.
If you're keen on joining in on all the fun, you can soon do so by downloading Animal Arena on the Google Play Store and on the iOS App Store. It's a free-to-play game with a single in-app purchase to remove ads. You can also take a little sneak peek at the embedded clip above to get a feel of the game's vibes.
