It seems lots of people are enjoying, or are at least intrigued by, Rovio's latest bird flinger. After being released late last month, Angry Birds 2 has already been downloaded 30 million times.

According to Rovio, one third of those downloads have come from China alone.

And with the Angry Birds 2 adventure "just getting started", there will likely be many more downloads still to come.

Rovio will welcome the news with open arms, as it's been attempting to crack the Chinese market for a while now.

Although Angry Birds has always been big in the East, earlier this year the developer teamed up with Chinese publisher Kunlun to create bespoke content for the Chinese market to try and dominate there.

10 million downloads isn't a bad start.

In our Angry Birds 2 review, Harry threw a Bronze award right in those piggies' faces, calling the game a step forward for the franchise.

If you still haven't tried out Angry Birds 2, you can do so for free on the App Store and Google Play now.
