Alliance Alive HD Remaster, a redone version of the classic JRPG from the 3DS, launches onto mobile

Developer FURYU Corporation has released a remaster of the classic JRPG Alliance Alive onto mobile today. This lovely little favourite in the genre sees you embark on a gorgeously realized fantasy adventure, collecting a wide variety of characters and experiencing a fantastical storyline full of twists and turns.

Within Alliance Alive, a dark force named Daemons invades and shatters humanity as they fail to deal with the multidimensional threat. You, the protagonist, will have to unite everyone you come across in an effort to team up against this world-ending force and reunite various guilds and alliances under your banner.

Alliance Alive was initially released on the 3DS way back when, but this remastered version features some lovely updated visuals that really make the large variety of biomes and areas within the game pop, highlighting the game’s really unique art style even further than it was initially.

Combat-wise, you’ll be collecting a wide variety of characters as you meet these various groups of heroes, and each of these characters will hold their own unique skills, traits, and abilities. You’ll be able to utilize each of them in the game’s more traditional-style combat systems as you battle against all these Daemons.

That traditional style of combat will be familiar to anyone who dabbles in the genre, as Alliance Alive goes with the “if it isn’t broke, don’t fix it” mentality, sporting a mostly typical turn-based system of battle. Each character gets a turn, they use a big ability or normal attack or block, and you do that until either side wins. It’s a familiar way of doing combat, but it is nearly always fun, so don’t sleep on it!

If all of that sounds perfect to you, you can purchase Alliance Alive for only $11.99 at either of the links below!
