If the name hadn't clued you in, this is a very esoteric little pick. Set aboard the Babel, a cruise ship taking its passengers to the afterlife and powered by their memories. You take on the role of a passenger traversing the grand cruise ship and helping out its various passengers extricate themselves from tricky situations.

The core mechanic here is that of the butterfly effect, as you take a dive into the backgrounds and pasts of each passenger to help them. Tweaking and changing previous events will affect their current circumstances, as well as those around them, allowing you to solve some problems while likely creating others.A Guidebook of Babel may look cutesy, but as specified on the storefront, this is more of a tragicomedy. I mean, you can't exactly have a journey to the afterlife without a little bit of melancholy, can you?
But at the same time, despite that rather tragic throughline, there's plenty to enjoy here. Especially if you're a puzzle fan who enjoys a more immersive experience than just looking at a UI. And as I've said before, it shows one of the strengths of the Epic Games Store for mobile in highlighting lesser-known games.
