ZOZ: Final Hour opens up its closed beta test to even more regions

Having already begun its beta testing amongst certain regions, ZOZ: Final Hour is opening up those doors to a few other regions this month, courtesy of developer NetEase. This survival shooter has seen a lot of hype build-up since being announced a ways back, and the beta has also been quite successful, so it’s exciting to see more people get their hands on it.

In case you aren’t caught up, ZOZ: Final Hour is a survival third-person shooter where you take on the role of a mercenary as you explore San Yagar in an attempt to gather up material known as Blood Crystals. Using an assortment of different abilities as well as a large variety of weaponry, you’ll do battle against hordes of mutants as you try to collect this new material.

What makes ZOZ even more interesting is the PvPvE aspect, wherein players are automatically taking part in PvP once they’re dropped into a match. While the mutants are the primary threat, everyone is also working in their own self-interests for these crystals, meaning they can turn around and stab you in the back at any minute even if they seem to be helping at first.

This singular aspect takes ZOZ and turns it into a tense experience where you’ll never know how safe you are. And to make things even that much more interesting, there’s also a mechanic in which players can resurrect upon death and become zombies, where they can then go on and kill any and all other players within the match.

So basically, there’s a constant sense of danger and threats around every corner. It’ll absolutely keep you on your toes regardless of what gear you have.

After the successful launch of the closed beta within Indonesia, Brazil, and Singapore, NetEase is now opening the doors for Bolivia, Colombia, Malaysia, Mexico, and Peru as well. If you’re located in any of these regions and want to give it a go yourself, download the beta at the link below!
