World Dai Star: Yume no Stellarium, a brand new Japan-exclusive anime rhythm game, puts out a new trailer ahead of Summer launch

World Dai Star: Yume no Stellarium, a brand new mobile rhythm game, has received a new trailer to show off what players can expect from the planned Summer 2023 release window. This anime-inspired tune-based reflex test holds an abundance of wonderful-looking character designs alongside some truly striking 3D visuals and a lovely soundtrack to boot!

Details of World Dai Star are pretty unknown at the moment, at least in terms of plot or setting and the like. What is known is that it’s a rhythm game, meaning you can expect to be tapping lots of notes as they enter your screen from different angles, likely with a lovely anime music video with your favourite character in the background the entire time.

Think something like Hatsune Miku: Colorful Stage or even BanG Dream! Girls Band Party and you're not far off. This genre rarely switches things up, and World Dai Star looks to continue that trend. But, as the saying goes, if it ain’t broke don’t fix it! Knowing that World Dai Star plays like other genre contemporaries can also quickly tell you if you’re likely to enjoy it or not.

And even if the gameplay isn’t really for you, it’s quite likely we’ll see these lovely characters, some of which are introduced in the featured trailer, interact with one another and see the story play out as the game goes on. Mix in that soundtrack that sounds ever so awesome and if you’re a rhythm game, this is one to keep an eye on.

Unfortunately for us outside of Japan, nobody knows if we’ll receive a global version anytime soon. That Summer 2023 release window is currently only confirmed for Japan, and there’s been no word on porting it outside of the country, so we’ll just have to wait and see.
