Android Scrabble-esque Words With Friends updated with customisable notifications

Words With Friends, the Scrabble-esque word game from Zynga, has received a new update on the Android Market.

Additions include the ability to customise notifications, allowing you to determine how often your device checks for new moves, if at all.

Words With Friends boasts cross-platform multiplayer between Android and iOS devices, with in-game chat allowing players to stay in contact.

Its turn-based nature allows up to 20 games to be played simultaneously, against friends or randomly selected opponents, with familiar word game elements such as double and triple word score multipliers present.

Words With Friends for iPhone was awarded a Pocket Gamer Bronze Award at review.

An ad-supported version is available for free.
