Warhammer 40,000: Tacticus launches worldwide

Snowprint Studios have officially globally launched the latest in a long line of Warhammer 40,000-themed mobile games. This time, we’ve got Warhammer 40,000: Tacticus, a strategic tactics-based combat game that includes Live PvP battles, huge guild boss fights, and a well-thought-out main campaign as well. After launching in numerous regions across the world, Tacticus has finally made it to every market across the globe.

If you haven’t stayed caught up, Warhammer 40,000 is a massively popular property and has seen everything from video game adaptations to novels to a ton of mobile titles like Regicide or Warhammer Quest. Tacticus seeks to bring something new to the table with its tactical turn-based combat and a ton of factions from the Warhammer universe to take to the battlefield.

What exactly do I mean by tactics, you might be wondering? Well, if you’ve played games like X-COM or even Fire Emblem: Heroes, you’ll know what’s up. You’ll be leading a squad of soldiers from whichever faction you end up choosing onto a grid-based battlefield, wherein you’ll direct units to move space-by-space and combat opponents using various abilities, weaponry, and special skills.

As for what factions will be available, there’s a vast list at launch. We’ve got, in order, Ultramarines, Death Guard, Astra Militarum, Black Legion, Orks, Black Templars, Adeptas Soroitas, and the Necrons. I might be wrong here, but I’m decently sure this is the largest list of factions that a Warhammer mobile game has launched with to date.

And if you’re curious as to what content you’ll be tackling with these factions, you’ll be able to do real-time PvP combat with other players, take on AI opponents in the main campaign, or take on huge boss enemies with your guild members as well!

So, regardless of what sort of combat you’re performing, this does mean that you’ll have a ton of choices as to which of your favourite Warhammer groups you’d like to do battle as. If you’re looking to try them out yourself, you can download Warhammer 40,000: Tacticus at either of the links below this article!
