Valiant Force 2, the sequel to the hit 2016 strategy RPG gacha, opens up pre-registration for Play Store users
Developer XII Braves has announced its next big project, the upcoming Valiant Force 2. It is, of course, the sequel to XII Braves’ popular strategy RPG Valiant Force, which launched way back in 2016. This next instalment will feature plenty of new content, heroes to collect, and enhanced turn-based strategic combat.
Valiant Force was quite a success upon launch, winning the People’s Choice Award at the 2nd International Mobile Gaming Awards a year after its initial release. The stellar cast of characters alongside some great tactical strategy gameplay and in-depth party building made for engaging gameplay mechanics. With a pretty deep story added to all that, there was a lot to love about the original.
Valiant Force 2 seeks to recapture that magic and enhance it in just about every way. Players can expect a lot of familiar faces from the original as the story continues directly from where the previous entry left off, but there will also be plenty of fresh faces introduced as well. This means that there will also be plenty of new skill sets to master and new ways to build up your party, so the variety will only continue to get larger.
While gameplay details are light, it’s all but certain we can expect the original loops to stay intact but be added upon in different ways. For now, what we do know is that Valiant Force 2 will likely be quite the success at launch just like its sister title, and it also has quite a budget behind it too.
This is evident in the voice cast that has been announced so far, including the likes of Ishikawa Yui, of Attack on Titan fame, Matsuoka Yoshitsugu, of Sword Art Online acclaim, Narita Ken, best known for his role in InuYasha, and more. The protagonist, in fact, is voiced by Kito Akari, who played the legendary Nezuko in the massively popular Demon Slayer anime series.
With all of this, it’s easy to see Valiant Force 2 blowing up the second it launches.
