Turmoil tips and tricks for beginners
Turmoil is a simple oil drilling tycoon simulator that has just been released on Android and iOS. It has been developed and published by LT Games and is based on the 19th century North American oil rush. In it, you have to build and expand your oil business and aim to become the city's mayor.

TIP #1 - Dig in small lengths
Digging deeper at once is way cheaper than digging the same length in small installments (with joints in between). This is because there is a start-up price associated with laying pipes. But at the same time, it will be easy for you to upgrade the oil capacity of lines quicker for the pipes laid in installments. Having joints in between also allows you to intersect with pipes.
Therefore, even though it's a bit expensive, it's worth digging in small lengths. If you are playing the beginning stages, you can dig deeper as the levels are not complex but as you progress, make sure to switch to the other strategy.

TIP #2 - Choose oil-rich land
At the time of the land auction, make sure to bid on land that is oil-rich. This way, when you go drilling, you will be able to find gas pockets underground easily and also, you can use multiple drilling machines at the same time, earning you a lot of cash before the time runs out.
How do you identify oil-rich lands? Each land that has already been drilled is assigned a number based on oil richness; the ground next to the land with a higher number has a high probability of being rich in oil.

TIP #3 - Connect pipes
Connecting pipes from an upgraded rig to those that are not upgraded will automatically upgrade the new network. This is the most effective way of upgrading pipes and is a lot cheaper than paying for the upgrade for the new rig separately.
