The Walking Dead: Survivors' new update introduces game-changing pets

Developers Elix and Skybound announced today the next big update to the mobile MMO The Walking Dead: Survivors. With this new update, you will be able to unlock and add three new animals to enhance your settlements.

Within The Walking Dead: Survivors, players are able to create a settlement to micromanage that will produce resources valuable to getting you ahead gameplay-wise. This settlement aspect includes things such as building new structures, story events involving your survivors, and as of this update, three pets of your choosing to spice up your settlement as well. These pets will be able to be upgraded and capable of learning new skills to further help you out in your fight for survival against the zombie hordes.

The three available pet additions released with this update are dogs, cattle, and sheep, which will all benefit you in various ways. If you choose to add a dog into your mix, you will see a significant combat skill increase and an increase to your formation capacity. If you want to add in cattle, you’ll gain a buff to your support skill and increase your troop load capacity. And finally, a sheep will give you a flat boost to your resource production within your camp. Alongside these additions, you can also upgrade the buildings that will be constructed in accordance with your choice of pet to further enhance their benefits.

If a desperate fight against zombies using various survivors of different classes and types, some even from the titular television show, sounds up your alley you can give The Walking Dead: Survivors a shot for free on the App Store and Google Play. And if you’re looking for extra loot, you can redeem the code MansBestFriend in the shop for some free goodies.
