Six to Start's follow-up to Bronze Award-winning jogging game Zombies, Run! is entitled The Walk.

Guess what? It's out now on the Google Play Store and the App Store.

The Walk was written by Naomi Alderman and funded by the UK's Department of Health and the NHS. It's primarily designed to get people up and walking.

The Walk's story involves a terrorist attack and a mysterious package that you need to get to Scotland before it's too late.

Pop your phone in your pocket and the app maker will be able to track how far you walk. Walk far enough and you'll unlock the next snippet of the story, eventually walking your way to the end of the game and the end of the UK.

Rather than setting arbitrary step goals, Six to Start takes into account your level of fitness in The Walk, and offers rewards if you remain active for a whole day.

If you fancy giving The Walk a try, you can grab it from the Google Play Store [buy] and the App Store [buy] for a special introductory price of £2.49 / $3.99.
