THE KING OF FIGHTERS ALLSTAR adds XV Iori and XV Shun’ei along with new in-game events in latest update

Netmarble has announced a new update to THE KING OF FIGHTERS ALLSTAR, welcoming two new fighters into the fray. Apart from the highly anticipated XV Iori and XV Shun’ei, players can also look forward to new in-game events, cards, and so much more.

In the latest update to THE KING OF FIGHTERS ALLSTAR, players can take their pick from two new playable fighters. XV Iori (Red Element/Attack type), in particular, can boost [Extreme] fighters’ ATK and Critical DMG with his leader skill, while XV Shun’ei (Green Element/Balance type)'s leader skill can boost [Green Element] fighters’ ATK and Critical DMG.

XV Iori and XV Shun’ei’s Special Cards have been added as well - these handy battle cards can offer special skills when equipped. The former increases Critical DMG for a time, while the latter provides a nifty boost to ATK Speed for a period.

As for the in-game events, the Rush Dungeon: I’m a Producer? rewards eager players with event coins that be used to redeem in-game goodies once they complete stages featuring Hotaru and Shun’ei. The Challenge Dungeon: Sonata of Fate and Envy, on the other hand, will give away Event Dice, BS/SS Fighter Memory Random Box and more to mighty warriors who clear each stage. This particular dungeon will only be available to players who are able to acquire XV Iori or XV Shun’ei.
