The King of Fighters Allstar's latest update introduces Athena Asamiya and Lady Chin Gentsai
Netmarble has just released a new update for its action RPG The King of Fighters Allstar. The update includes access to two new characters – Athena Asamiya and Lady Chin Gentsai with their own battle cards, and a number of in-game events that grant plentiful rewards.
Let’s start off with the new heroes. Athena Asamiya is a Yellow Element Balance Type heroine with great offensive capabilities. She can increase her attack and critical damage by 50% and 35%, respectively. Her special skill allows her to stack up to five attacks and makes her immune to damage for four seconds when her HP falls below 20%.
The second character, Lady Chin Gentsai, is a Red Element Defence Type character. Her leader skill boosts her attack and critical damage by 50% and 25% with her special skill further raising these limits. Gentsai also has a PvP-exclusive special move that creates a critical hit shield for seven seconds when HP is above 70%.
Both of these characters can ramp up their attributes even higher with the newly added battle cards. They are capable of increasing Athena’s critical damage by 30% for 10 seconds and resetting Lady Chin’s finish cooldown and making her skills available.
Meanwhile, a bunch of events go live with this update as well. Clearing dungeons like the Rush Dungeon and Challenge Dungeon will help unlock rewards such as Fire, and Psycho Soldier! Rush Event Coins, growth items, and one of the newly added characters as well.
Through the Team Co-Op Event, players will be rewarded with lots of goodies based on their team or individual score for completing missions like BS Fighter Selector. Some Halloween treats are still up for grabs as players will still be able to get their hands on Popstar Cakes, Popstar Chocolates Popstar Hearts, Awaken EXP Capsule and Elite Enhancement Hammer.
