The Horus Heresy: Legions is an upcoming mobile card game based in Games Workshop's brutal future

It's been a while since we last got a new game set in the grim dark, darkly grim far future of Games Workshop's Warhammer 40,000 canon, but that's all going to change at the start of next year. Well, sort of.

That's because The Horus Heresy: Legions is set to hit the App Store and the Google Play Store at the start of 2018. Technically it's set before Warhammer 40K, in the civil war that basically ruined the entire galaxy for everyone.

The game is a collectible card game that sees you joining a warrior lodge with other players and taking part in huge events. These events will change the game depending on which side wins the conflict, which is pretty cool.

There's going to be a single player campaign too, which will see you taking part in some of the iconic battles that defined the course of the galactic civil war. Again, that sounds pretty cool to me.

If any of that has piqued your interest, you can follow this link right here to go and sign up for the closed beta.

Oh, and of course keep your eyes on Table Tap, because we'll be feeding you all the juicy info you need in the months leading up to the game's release.
