Tarisland announces closed beta test taking place later this month
A few weeks ago, Tencent announced its latest project, Tarisland, an MMORPG with a massive, fully-explorable world. The game started off as a replacement for World of Warcraft in China but will now release worldwide for everyone. Eager players will get a taste of the game soon as Tarisland is hosting a closed beta test later this month.
Tarisland’s enters into the closed beta phase beginning June 27th. The first round will be held in Brazil, Canada, the Philippines, and the UK, for Android users. In the game’s closed beta, players will be able to choose from one of seven available classes. It’s an important choice to make before diving into the immersive world because they all have unique attributes and perform differently in raids and dungeons. With these characters, players will be able to explore Ancash Canyon, SilverLit, and the Misty Forest alongside their storylines and quests.
Besides exploring these captivating regions, the CBT will offer a set of challenges as well. Players managing to defeat four dungeon bosses with a team of ten will be granted exclusive rewards and titles. In addition, five crafting professions will be available, as will the Arena and Battlegrounds. For those who want to put their combat skills to the test, challenging World Bosses is the way to go.
While we still don’t have a concrete launch date for Tarisland yet, a CBT means we’re getting somewhere. The game will surely release on iOS, Android, and PC later this year with full cross-play between platforms.
