Race Cat Games has announced the upcoming launch of Tap Force, the studio's auto-battle hero-collecting RPG on iOS and Android. Landing on mobile devices across the globe on August 24th, the title features a portrait-mode screen along with adorable pixel-art graphics that bring back vibes from the '90s.

In Tap Force, players can expect to gather epic fighters to create the ultimate roster of 16-bit heroes in combat. They'll have to fight through enemies across unique zones, or put their skills to the test against other players in the PvP Arena.

The game also features hundreds of levels that will challenge all kinds of players. They can also sell weapons to citizens (with offline rewards from the weapon shop), join clubs to socialise with friends, climb the ranks against others and more.

Based on the embedded YouTube clip above, it seems like the game does have a quirky cast of characters that look like they're a joy to collect. In particular, there seems to be a little Ninja Turtle-esque fighter along with a few faces that look similar to Street Fighter heroes (plus, there are mechs, too).

There's so much more to look forward to during the official global launch, so if you're eager to join in on all the fun and get your hands on the game, you can learn more about Tap Force over on the official website. You can also join the community of followers on Discord to stay updated on all the latest developments, or take a little sneak peek at the embedded clip above to get a feel of the game's visuals, mechanics and gameplay as well.
