Developed and published by Marmalade Game Studio, Taboo - Official Party Game adds a new digital way for friends and family to get together on game night, and it's out now for both iOS and Android devices. As the very first complete party game that features in-game video chat, Taboo lets players from all over the world come together for a fun game of forbidden words.

In case you're not familiar with the classic word guessing game, Taboo is a time-honoured icebreaker and party game that pits two teams against each other. Each team must be able to guess the word that's written on a picked card, but the catch is that the clue giver can't use the word itself or any of the forbidden words listed on the card.

Taboo is pure chaotic fun. It’s very noisy, and apart from not using the taboo words, there aren’t many rules. It’s the perfect multiplayer game and it’s definitely best played face-to-face, which is where Marmalade has a unique edge in mobile gaming," says Cristina Mereuta, CEO of Marmalade Game Studios. "Our Bubble in-game video chat means you can play together wherever you are, as if you’re in the same room. This feature easily sets our official game apart from the rest, and we couldn’t be happier with how seamless it is. We know you’re going to have so much fun!

You can play Taboo in-person with the Local Party Mode or online using the in-game high-quality video chat. If you're eager to give it a go, you can download Taboo on the iOS App Store or on the Google Play Store for Android devices. It's priced at £1.79 a pop.
