In Survivor.io, you battle against a horde of seemingly endless zombies in a thrilling bullet-heaven-style game. The game has recently added the ability to play co-op, allowing you to invite a friend to compete for the highest score or see who can survive the longest. Unlike most online multiplayer games, there are a few things you need to keep in mind for co-op mode to work. So, whether you're looking for a helping hand, a healthy competition, or just want a fun experience with your friend, here's a guide on how to play Survivor.io co-op with your friends.

How to Play Co-Op with Friends in Survivor.io

Survivor.io allows you to play co-op with a friend within the same local network and anyone worldwide using a VPN. If you are all connected to the same Wi-Fi or mobile hotspot, you can quickly join each other's game and start playing together. For this, however, both of you need to have the same version of the game. Otherwise, it won't work.

It's also worth noting that you can only play co-op after reaching the 10th stage. While this might seem like a dealbreaker to some players, thankfully, you can easily reach this stage using Survivor.io redeem codes to get gems and buy the best gear in the game.

To access local co-op mode, head to Trials and select Local Co-Op. This will bring up a list of available rooms, and you can join any of them. You can also create your own room and invite your friend to join. Once you have a full team, you can start playing together and competing for the highest score. For now, co-op is only limited to two players, but this could change in the future.

How to Play Global Co-Op in Survivor.io

Don't have anyone nearby to play Survivor.io with? No problem. Playing co-op with anyone in the world is also an option. For this to work, you need to download ZeroTierOne, a VPN that will allow you to be on the same network with others regardless of their location.

Once downloaded, enable mobile data and turn off your WiFi. Next, open the app and tap "Add Network" and enter "12ac4a1e714a4fb4" in the Network ID. Make sure also to check the "Route all traffic through Zero Tier" and "No DNS" options. Finally, tap "Add" at the bottom of the screen and head back to the local co-op tab Survivor.io.

You should be able to see a list of available rooms there or create a room of your own. If nothing shows up, keep tapping the refresh button until you find someone to play with.
