Super Pixelander has just hit the New Zealand App Store, which means the tale of a little spaceship pooping bullets and grabbing interstellar space rocks should be hitting the UK at midnight tonight.

The game is a simple tilty shooter that sees you blasting fire out of your back-end. You press on the screen to fly in the direction your nose is pointing.

Everytime you grab a space rock your weapon changes, Super Crate Box-style.

It's a lot of fun, and there's a compulsive high-score chasing element here that the very best shooters always possess.
