Super Meat Boy Forever challenges players with its signature difficulty, coming to mobile on April 20th

Thunderful and Team Meat have announced the official release date for Super Meat Boy Forever, coming to both iOS and Android devices on April 20th. Players won't have to wait too long to get their hands on the tough-as-nails auto-runner as Meat Boy and Bandage Girl rage against Dr Fetus to rescue their daughter, Nugget.

In Super Meat Boy Forever, players can expect to leap and punch their way through procedurally generated levels with the same vibrant visuals and bloody gore fans of the franchise have come to know and love. The game features a two-button control scheme over more than 5000 levels.

Super Meat Boy Forever was born out of a desire to make a two-button Meat Boy game that was as hard and as rewarding as the original Super Meat Boy. Two buttons makes it a no-brainer for mobile,” says Team Meat co-founder and programmer Tommy Refenes. “With Thunderful’s help we were able to bring the entire game, already on PC and consoles, to mobile without sacrificing anything. It’s the full game for $0.99, no ads, no micro-transactions, just pure Meat Boy joy on a phone. What a time to be alive.”

If you're keen on giving the game a go, you can download it from the Google Play Store and the iOS App Store next month.
