When it comes to the agrarian lifestyle, it might conjure visions of rolling fields, tilling the earth and relaxing on the porch of a farmstead. Not so in today's subject, as Super Farming Boy is exciting, action-packed and anything but relaxing. So what's this upcoming iOS release got to offer? Let's find out!
In Super Farming Boy you play as the titular boy, named Super (really) who has been unlawfully drafted to work the land by the evil KORPO®©TM who have captured your mom and friends. You'll need to farm and save up enough to rescue them!
Alright, so already an oddball premise, but that's not all. In Super Farming Boy you don't use tools, you are a tool. Part puzzler and part farming sim, you'll transform into all the necessary tools while walking, jumping and flying, looking to chain combos by harvesting and planting the same type of crop for massive rewards.

It goes without saying that this is certainly an intriguing premise for a game. The mixture of farming and puzzling, not to mention the frankly unusual story makes this quite the eclectic mix. Having already released on Switch and Steam, Super Farming Boy has garnered a broadly critical response, so I reckon it might find a pretty sturdy audience when it comes to iOS.
