Street Patrol Command lets you patrol the borders as a rookie cop in the 80s, coming soon to iOS
No one gets in or out without your permission

- Play as a rookie cop investigating your father's last case
- Patrol the borders under strict regulations
- Pursue smugglers in high-speed chases
Street Patrol Command is exactly as it says on the tin - you play as a patrol officer manning the borders in the 1980s, but things aren't always as black-and-white as they seem, are they?
In this upcoming sim, you step into the shoes of rookie cop Jack Harper. You're burdened with heavy decisions as to whether or not you'll let shady individuals through, but just in case you thought a desk job is boring, the high-speed chases you'll need to dive into every now and then should spice up the daily grind for you.
You can, of course, call for backup, which is really handy especially since you're also investigating a mysterious conspiracy involving your old man. You'll also need to check entry regulations like stricter rules on contraband, poisoned food, and vehicle registration to make informed decisions about your border-patrolling tasks.

And while it all sounds similar to Black Border or Papers, Please, the artwork here seems to give this sim its own flavour across this growing genre.
Now, details are a little hush-hush at the moment, but the gameplay does seem pretty straightforward too based on the screenshots available online. But if you're on the lookout for something similar while you wait for the official launch, why not take a look at our list of games like Papers, Please to get your fill?
In the meantime, if you're eager to join in on all the fun, you can do so by checking it out on the App Store. It's a premium purchase at $4.99 a pop or your local equivalent, with an expected launch date of September 26th.
Do take that with a grain of salt though, as these expected launch dates on the store page often change without prior notice. There's no news on an Android release just yet.
