E3 2016: Earn money for charity by playing Star Wars Galaxy of Heroes
With EA's Play to Give campaign
Thanks to EA, you can now give to charity by simply performing the activity you love the most: playing games. I never thought I'd write these words.
But it's true. EA has just launched the Play to Give campaign which invites you to participate in a challenging events in five of its games, including Star Wars: Galaxy of Heroes.
In this particular event, you'll build a team of the most powerful female characters from the Star Wars universe and send them into battle against the droids.
In return for playing this and the other events, EA will donate $1 million to the following five organisations: Code.org, Code2040, HeForShe, National Center for Women & Information Technology, and SpecialEffect.
The event runs from today, June 12th until Sunday, June 19th. If you'd like to play your part (literally) grab Star Wars: Galaxy of Heroes from the App Store or Google Play right now.
