War Balloon's highly anticipated retro-space adventure Star Command has got itself a teaser trailer.
For those who might have missed our coverage of Star Command, it's the game that hopes to mix the best elements of Game Dev Story with the best (pre-Bakula) moments of Star Trek and will be arriving on iOS/Android platforms this summer.
Tiled-based gloryThe trailer doesn't include a firmer release window or launch price, unfortunately, but if it's any indication of what the gameplay will be like, beam us up Scotty excited.
In addition to the spaceship-building elements, the teaser trailer showcases teleporting insectoid aliens to zap, fires to extinguish, incoming phaser fire to dodge and spaceship battles - all rendered in gloriously retro graphics.
If the relatively low action content of sim/management games has left you cold or you've already completed all of Kairosoft's released oeuvre, Star Command very well might be the title to win you over.
