It seems that nowadays the mascot character genre is becoming more and more crowded. Back in the day, I think we all recall Hello Kitty being king of the castle. But now there are others vying for the crown. Labubu, Beanie Babies and, of course, Squishmallows. Now these adorable(?) creatures are taking centre stage in the new mobile match-three Squishmallows Match!

Coming to iOS and Android on September 2nd, with pre-registration now open, it's almost surprising that it's taken this long to find Squishmallows on mobile. But a match-three puzzler is a sensible first step. After all, what else fits the colourful, all-ages appeal of plush toys than the equally simple and straightforward matching, high score-chasing puzzler?

The collectable aspect of Squishmallows is also on full display here, letting you grab as many of these distinctive pudgy plushies as there are probably existing and size them up. Those of you playing in the Philippines, the UK and Canada can dive in right now as Squishmallows Match is already available in soft launch in select regions.

There's not much else to be said about Squishmallows Match. It has all the appeal that'll have fans of the plush toy flocking to it, and the colourful layout and frantic match-three gameplay are sure to bring in some casual players.
