South Park Imaginationland coming to mobile and iPhone

Comedy Central has revealed a game based on the "hugely popular" South Park Imaginationland trilogy. If you're not a fan, it's when the doors of the world's imagination are thrown wide open and the South Park gang are transported to a magical realm.

Okay, we pretty much copied that straight out of the press release. And by reading on we were able to find out that you take on Butters's job of rescuing the world in three arenas (Happy Imaginationland, Evil Imaginationland and The Battle for Imaginationland). It starts with Cartman needing to find a leprechaun and, in turn, win a bet with Kyle that would result in him having to – and we'll be a little more delicate in conveying this image than the press release – place Cartman's testicles in his mouth.

No, really.

If you can believe it, things soon degenerate from there, with terrorists, nukes, the Pentagon and the Supreme Court turning up.

There isn't a great deal of detail with regards to gameplay, but we do know that things start off with bouncing. You use your bouncing skills to collect items and complete missions within the time limit imposed, see. But then you gain other 'imagination powers' to enable you to complete your quest, meaning the game's 60 missions.

That's it for now, other than to confirm the game is due in June on mobile, iPhone and BlackBerry.
