Sleepy Stork is a new physics-based puzzler coming to iOS and Android
  • Sleepy Stork is a new physics-based puzzler for mobile
  • Guide a sleepy stork to its bed through varied obstacle courses
  • Learn dream interpretation with new examples in over 100 levels

With simple but engaging mechanics, the physics-based puzzle genre is one that has thrived on mobile with hit entries such as World of Goo and Fruit Ninja. It's little surprise that it's still going strong with many indie projects, such as the upcoming Sleepy Stork.

Sleepy Stork is, well, about a narcoleptic avian. In it, your job is to navigate the slumbering bird through a physics-based obstacle course, all the way back to bed. Along the way, you'll be given a crash course in dream interpretation, with a new example provided on every level.

While deceptively straightforward, Sleepy Stork is not lacking in content, with over 100 levels already. Currently, it's only available for iOS via TestFlight and in early access on Android. However, with a slated release date of April 30th, you won't have to wait long to find out the meaning behind your dreams.

Sleepy Stork is an excellent example of how even the older genres on mobile are able to have a place. World of Goo 2, also recently released, offers the same physics-based puzzles as its predecessor but with an enhanced focus on story and more levels. While Sleepy Stork may not reach the same lofty heights of popularity, with plenty of levels and the appeal of the dream interpretation angle, it could definitely do well.
