Skullgirls Mobile, the popular fighter for iOS and Android, finally adds fan favourite Fukua to the game

Skullgirls Mobile is finally getting that new character that was teased in February by Hidden Variable. Fukua now joins the fray and brings her hair slinging abilities with her.

As you may know, Skullgirls is also a popular game on consoles as well. When they released the game for iOS and Android, they wanted to make sure they brought as many of the characters from the console version to your mobile screens as possible.

And interestingly enough, Fukua was the only character that was missing in the mobile version. What's even more interesting is that she started life as an April Fool's joke. But, after a while, due to popular demand, she was included in the game. Now, she should be a very popular addition to the hit fighter.

It makes you wonder if she's become a "hero of the people" character, like Waluigi has in the Super Mario World (I couldn't resist, I had to go there). Over the last few years, there has been a sudden rise in popularity with Waluigi, Luigi's arch-nemesis with many demanding that he be included in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate (and should be because why not?).

Although for Skullgirls fans, Fukua is in the mobile game, so that dream has been fulfilled. So, expect her to get a ton of playtime when players fire up their mobile devices.

Her attacks are pretty cool, giving her the ability to use her hair to strike her opponent, which is hilarious. She can also apparently clone herself, which gives her another stylish attack.

Overall, Skullgirls fans should be very pleased with the addition of Fukua. Now go out there and kick some tail.

Skullgirls is available for free on Google Play and the App Store
