  • Step into an eerie, monochromatic underwater world
  • Control sea creatures to solve environmental puzzles
  • Set to release on iOS and Android in January 2026

Snapbreak Games’ atmospheric puzzler Silt is heading to iOS and Android, inviting you into a surreal oceanic abyss unlike anything you’ve explored before. Pre-orders are now live, with a free trial version available at launch and a full unlock option for those ready to take the plunge.

In Silt, you play as a lone diver, dropped into a flooded world shaped by decay, shadows, and strange lifeforms. To explore further, you’ll need to possess the creatures around you, slipping from your own form into theirs to solve puzzles, uncover hidden paths, and survive the deep. Nature here has evolved in weird and hostile ways, so you need to be prepared for anything that comes your way.

The entire journey is delivered through a stark monochrome aesthetic, hand-drawn by artist Mr Mead. Instead of bright coral reefs and teeming ecosystems, you’re drifting through a hushed and haunting world, where silence is heavy and nothing quite feels alive or dead.

It’s hard not to think of Subnautica, which also just launched on mobile this month. Both games drop you into dangerous deep-sea environments filled with secrets, but their tone and pacing couldn’t be more different.

Subnautica builds tension through vibrant survival mechanics and creeping dread, asking you to adapt, craft, and stay alive. Silt, by contrast, strips away the noise. It leans into isolation and unease, with no HUD, no inventory, and no clear direction - just atmosphere, mystery, and the pressure of the deep bearing down on you.
