Best know for its Xbox 360 games Kingdom Under Fire and Ninety-Nine Nights, Korean developer Blueside (previously called Phantagram) is now preparing for its first DS title.

Shining Legend is an action RPG, which promises elements of romance mixed in with the adventure.

Money, love and rockets

The plot revolves around your character, Luchs, a wandering prince of a fallen kingdom that's suffering from financial crisis.

As you do, he meets a chatty cat and sets out on a journey to find seven princesses who have disappeared from their palace in order to get the reward that will solve his problems.

Along the way, there are over four hundreds quests set in forty regions that will have you battling through dozens of monsters in real-time frantic action, levelling up your character gaining abilities and collecting items as you go.

Adding to the plot, you get to hook up with the various princesses as you find them.

Your evolving relationship with each changes the story and they can gift you various abilities, with the game having multiple endings depending on your attitude and actions towards each princess.

Shining Legend will be released in winter 2010 on DS, with mobile and other platforms - we'd assume bada and iPhone, maybe PSP too - planned for 2011.

You can find more information at the game's teaser website.
