Seven Knights Re:BIRTH adds Randgrid and April Fools’ hero Deo in latest update
A little bit of both

Seven Knights Re:BIRTH has dropped a Celestial Guardian and a ranch-themed April Fools' hero in the same update. That's quite the range. The new content is live now, and it somehow holds together despite the tonal whiplash.
Randgrid is the serious half of that equation. An attack-type Celestial Guardian built around weakening enemy defences before landing a focused strike on the front row. If you want to know where she lands in the current meta, our Seven Knights Re:BIRTH tier list is worth checking.
Then there's [Wings of Darkness & Ranch] Deo, which is exactly what it sounds like. Introduced as the update's April Fools' hero, he comes with silence immunity and a set that focuses on utility, which is particularly useful in Castle Rush. The name is ridiculous. The kit is less so. I think he earns his place.
Surrounding the two new heroes is a decent spread of content. The story event Two Hearts And Undying Memories digs into Randgrid's narrative, with missions tied to rewards like a Legendary Hero Ticket and Brilliant Skill Enhancement Stones. Standard setup, but it at least gives the new release some context beyond just a banner drop.
On the lighter side, the Instant Deo minigame asks you to slice incoming food objects, which fits the energy of an April Fools' hero perfectly. I wonder where they got that distinctive idea from?
Events round things out in the usual way. Deo's Gift Event hands out rewards, including Deo himself through login participation, while the Deo the Gourmandizer event lets you collect points through regular play and exchange them for growth materials and up to seven copies of the hero. Solid returns if you're already active.
